What´s so special in Kyoto?
TORII GATES
You cannot see Torii gates in Paris or in London or in New York. Of course you don´t need to see them there, but they makes Kyoto very special and you find them everywhere in Kyoto. Even in private gardens, where you can pop besides your way. It was a huge Torii-gate just next to our hotel. It was the very good landmark when we were looking way back home to Kyoto Travellers Inn, our cosy hotel. Torii gates are a real shintoist thing. They leads you from worldly whirlpool to spiritual paths. And a great Torii-gates path leads you to the mountains in Fushimi Inari. It was so amazing to walk through these orange pillars and climb and climb forward even being so tired. And at the top you can see most charming city from up and a beautiful sunset.

So many gates!
